I'm booked in for a cesarean On Thursday as my baby is breech but today I've had very little movement and I just went to the toilet and there was blood when I wiped. Ive felt super ill all day, I feel very dizzy and have the shakes. Does anyone know what's going on?!

Neverknowing Fri 21-Oct-16 22:59:31

I don't know whether to just go straight to hospital but I have no way of getting there now as everyone's been drinking or are away confused

MrsChrisPratt Fri 21-Oct-16 23:00:03

Any change in movement should be reported to your midwifery team asap. I'd give the hospital a call if I were you, there'll probably get you in for monitoring and either reassure your take the necessary action.

Go in ASAP.

Haggisfish Fri 21-Oct-16 23:02:24

By taxi, with a bag and notes, just in case.

Amalfimamma Fri 21-Oct-16 23:03:46

I'd go in straight away flowers op

Twodogsandahooch Fri 21-Oct-16 23:04:51

I agree you need to be seen tonight

Neverknowing Fri 21-Oct-16 23:04:56

Has anyone had a similar situation?? Will I have to have an emergency cesarean? I'm really scared

Mumteedum Fri 21-Oct-16 23:05:16

Go, please. flowers

Light bleeding (as in a trace of blood on wiping) is quite normal when full term.

The lack of movements however needs checking. Don't leave it, call a taxi.

Amalfimamma Fri 21-Oct-16 23:07:12

Never

Don't be scared, it could be nothing but please do go in ASAP and get it checked out. I've had 2 EMCS and they are not that bad seeing as you've an ELCS booked anyways! Go, keep us updated and we are here for a hand hold <3

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen Fri 21-Oct-16 23:07:12

Dizziness and shakes can be a sign of PE. Get yourself checked asap.

GiddyOnZackHunt Fri 21-Oct-16 23:07:47

Actually if you feel ill and are shakey it could be an ambulance job.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen Fri 21-Oct-16 23:08:18

And definitely get reduced movement checked out.

Wolfiefan Fri 21-Oct-16 23:08:32

Get checked out. It could be nothing. But always better to be checked.

passthewineplz Fri 21-Oct-16 23:09:06

Please go to hospital. They will monitor both you and your baby, and take things from there.

While you're waiting for a taxi ring the hospital to let them know you're coming, and if you have no transport as them if they can sort you some transport.

Christobel51 Fri 21-Oct-16 23:09:43

Sounds like you could be in early labour! The symptoms you describe are all possible in early labour. Try not to worry too much, but I would call your local hospital/ midwife centre and speak to them and then if there is no none to take you, I would get a taxi and take your notes and hospital bag with you. Good luck. X

user1471134011 Fri 21-Oct-16 23:09:53

Absolutely get checked. Bring bag and notes

Neverknowing Fri 21-Oct-16 23:11:19

Okay, thank you everyone. I'm going to ring triage and go in.

Ditsy4 Fri 21-Oct-16 23:13:16

I agree get it checked out. The reduced movement alone can be a sign but the shakes etc if you ring and say no transport they might send an ambulance for you if you can't get a taxi but do go. Don't leave until morning as if it is pre eclampsia then things can can change rapidly. I had it or toxaemia with all four of my pregnancies.

Wolfiefan Fri 21-Oct-16 23:16:34

Good luck.

Goldenvalley Fri 21-Oct-16 23:18:34

Good luck OP. Glad you're going in.

Frazzled2207 Fri 21-Oct-16 23:26:17

Good luck x

EllenDegenerate Fri 21-Oct-16 23:32:26

Go on, off to hospital with you right now.

Best of luck flowers

You'll be in the right place.

I have to wait till morning, they can't send an ambulance and there are no more taxis as I live in the middle of nowhere confused they would send an ambulance if they thought it was important though I hope.
