I have just found out I am pregnant (2 days ago) after a v. late miscarriage (23 weeks) in the summer...I am feeling v. paranoid because I have no symptoms at all except for a HPT which tells me I am 4 - 5 weeks preg...my main question is, when did you start to feel twinges / cramping etc with your pregnancy? I had period-like pains a couple of days ago, but since then v. little apart from the v. odd twinge which could v. easily be my imagination...I am sure with my last pregnancy I could basically feel her growing with loads of twinges / cramping etc, but I can't remember when that started...thanks for your help!

I'm so sorry to hear about your late MC :( that's awful. I can only offer my own experience. I had a silent MC at 12 weeks. The second pregnancy felt completely different from the first. Don't forget, your body has already done 23 weeks worth of stretching very recently so you won't notice it in the same way this time round

In my experience I didnt feel any different apart from some fatigue untill around 16 weeks! managed to convince myself that at the 12 week scan that nothing would be there and it was all in my head! So I wouldnt worry if you dont feel any twinges or pains Smile doesnt mean everything isnt going absolutely fine. I'm currently 36 weeks and all is fine Smile all the best and sending hugs Flowers

Thanks, v much appreciate the reassurance, I am trying really hard not to be totally paranoid but it's not easy...I agree, everything is likely to be well stretched from before and tbh I still look about 6 months pregnant!

I only felt those stretching feelings in my first pregnancy too, so it all sounds very normal.

Sorry for your loss Flowers

I'm 11 weeks pregnant after an early miscarriage in May (at 11 weeks). My earlier pregnancy I had appalling nausea, this pregnancy hardly any nausea. I've wondered if it is because many of the early symptoms are caused by us having to get used to HCG and therefore the hormonal changes aren't such a shock to our bodies this time around as it's not long since we were last pregnant?

No idea if there is any scientific back up for this - it's just my hunch!

I had v bad nausea with the last one, right up until delivery so hoping I don't get it quite so bad this time.

Hi, I'm so sorry for your loss :( I lost a little girl at 20 weeks not long before Christmas,so I know how painful a late loss is and how stressful pregnancy after a trauma is. I'm ten weeks now and just taking it each day at a time. I think I got twingey pains gradually around 6 weeks, but it's already a different pregnancy to the previous one, so try not to compare. Take care of yourself, you can and will do this xx

JOMH1982 I'm sorry for your loss too...it feels v strange to be preg again so soon after the last one, esp as my original due date approaches, I am convinced this one isn't going to work, but we will see.

It's so scary second time around, I hope you're okay. I didn't really feel confident until about 26 weeks if I'm honest. I still fret now a little. But what will be will be you can only go with it. As crappy as that sounds.
Best of luck lovely xx
