Nervous wreck after mc

I've found out I'm pregnant after an early mc a couple of months ago but have had some spotting. I was feeling positive until the spotting but now I'm a wreck. I don't have sore boobs which is a red flag for me as I had them last time until I mc and my tests don't look to be getting darker.

Can anyone reassure me, getting a scan next week if I make it that far but I'm too early to scan at the minute.

jaffa no real advice here as I'm only 4 weeks and still obsessing about faint lines on pregnancy tests, but I do no how you feel. Have you looked on the thread for those pregnant after miscarriage? It's really helpful, I only joined yesterday though so if your already there and if missed you im sorry!

My phones being a pain with letting me post sorry.

Just to add, my boobs were really sore in my first pregnancy which miscarried, but in my second pregnancy they didn't hurt at all, sickness and symptoms have been different in all 3 of my pregnancies so far so try not to worry too much about that, every pregnancy is different Flowers

Hi Alb, sorry I didn't respond my phone wasn't letting me post. It's good to know that you've differed with your pregnancies. Will have a look for the pregnancy after mc threads, just have to wait it out and hope for the best...this is worse than the 2ww!

I'm also on the pregnancy after mc thread. Lots of newbies at the moment so come along, it's great for support.
Also wanted to add, I've got 3 children and 23 weeks pregnant currently (plus 2 mc), only this pregnancy have I suffered sore boobs.
Symptoms will differ so don't worry on that front! Best of luck for this pregnancy x

Not sure if this will help.....

I had spotting bleeding when my period was due.
Is it bright red or dark red?

Also, all pregnancies are different like others have said. I had morning sickness with two and not for the third. It is hard not to worry after a mc when you're pregnant again but try not to x

Big congrats jaffacakes16, we kept each other company in the TWW! So glad you got your bfp. How far along are you?

It's so difficult when you're worrying but try and keep faith it'll be okay and you just feel differently this pregnancy, as Alb says. It's good you have a scan booked, I hope it gives you some reassurance your bean is sticky and thriving x

And Alb, you too! So pleased Smile

I kept poas till about 6 weeks, it helped! Haven't had a scan yet so still have days when I'm not entirely convinced there's anything in there.

Hi OP, this happened to me... I've had bleeding in both my successful pregnancies and of course in the one that ended in miscarriage. One successful pregnancy had very strong symptoms, the other hardly any. In my last successful one I had unexplained bleeding until 18 weeks - spotting, flowing, bright red, pink, brown, anything. It was an incredibly anxious time so I understand your feelings! And yet we made it to term and DC2 is bright and healthy a pain in the ass. Would it perhaps make you feel less anxious to think that whatever happens is out of your hands?

Best of luck!

Just reiterating what everyone else has said really but I had the sorest boobs during my first pregnancy had a mc at 12 weeks. Second pregnancy I had basically no symptoms at all and I'm now 37 weeks and all is well so far. Also had spotting with this pregnancy, it was fine. Good luck for your scan next week sweet x

hi!!
i MC 3 years ago at around 8 weeks, after that i constantly worried about concieving again could i ever carry.... i then fell pregnant a year later with my little girl and can tell you i was a nervous wreck all the way through, i constantly mivered mideives i too bled around 4-5 weeks but everything was fine and i was told it was common to bleed around that time of pregnancy as it was implantation bleeding.
After having a MC with your first pregnancy you cant help but worry.

i am now pregnant again and im undergoing tests atm as i had pain and slight bleeding, i had a scan on tuesday and they couldnt see anything so its just a case of blood tests every 48 hours and a waiting game until this tuesday for another scan!

hope all goes well!!
and good luck with your scan xxSmile

Thank you all so much for your replies it really does help to hear some positivity.

Ilooklikemydog - the spotting was around the time I'd get my period and it was brown so maybe that was it, thankfully it only happened for a couple of days and has stopped for now.

Ann and alb I remember you from 2ww - it seemed to be a fertile thread there were a good few positives on it!

Going to find the other thread now, hopefully that'll pacify me a bit!

Hi! Sending lots of love and luck for the scan! I had brown spotting twice with my first pregnancy and she is now a very healthy 20 month old! In both that pregnancy and my current pregnancy (24 weeks) I haven't been sick at all! In fact I felt far more sick with my pregnancy that ended is early miscarriage! Brown blood is normally not a serious sign so try not to worry Flowers
