Uti in pregnancy, what are the dangers?

Hi, I'm really scared to use Dr google. I have had horrendous sickness and have been on cyclizine. I thought I was getting better so stopped taking it last week. I was only sick a couple of times a day and kept most stuff down so wasn't concerned until this weekend. I felt awful on Saturday went to bed early and have been throwing up since. As I hadn't even kept water down I went to the Dr today. She told me to take ginger and leave a urine sample which I did. I just had a phone from them saying that they think I may have a uti and they would leave a prescription at the desk for me. In my tired, starved state I got myself really worked up. What are the risks is it normal and will it harm baby? I'm 13.weeks.

It's very very very common in pregnancy. Don't fret, just take the antibiotics and you'll be grand.
It won't harm baby at all, but do take the full course of tablets to get clear of it.

Thank you, I know I'm overreacting, just so tired and overwhelmed!

I had pretty much constant utis in my last pregnancy and had a few courses of antibiotics right up until the last few weeks, baby had prolonged jaundice no idea if this is related but other than that perfectly healthy and fine.
