Sad days

Hi

Does anyone ever have days when they are just sad for no reason and need to cry?

I'm so happy to be pregnant and feel so lucky, can't wait to meet my little girl but sometimes I just can't control how sad I feel.

Is it just me? (31 weeks)

I have days when I want to cry at the drop of a hat - and often do. They pass and I put it down to hormones! Am 30 weeks. I think days like that here and there are normal. I certainly had them last time around too.

I guess if it's persistent and you're struggling then maybe speak to your GP or mw?

Yes! I'm 29 weeks and have noticed I'm feeling really sad sometimes and cry at the smallest thing. I rang my Mum earlier for a chat but she said she was busy, wasn't being rude, she just asked if I could ring back later, I said okay, put the phone down and burst into tears! Not like me at all. Feeling very emotional and quite vulnerable, anxious. I do think it's all down to hormones, there is a lot going on, I just think it can get very overwhelming sometimes. That being said I have my days where I feel absolutely brilliant. I'm so happy to be having a baby, it's all I've wanted for a long time. You aren't alone Smile Pregnancy is very strange! But if it is concerning you, speak to your GP or midwife for advice.
Here if you need a chat x

You are definitely not alone.

I had days where my mood would change for no reason whatsoever.

Just go with it, allow yourself to feel sad, as you know it won't lastSmile

Yep! I'm only 6w, but have already had two days when I just felt on the verge of tears all day! Quite cheerful today, fortunately, despite backache!

Me too, I'm 22 weeks, and some days I'm in a perfectly good mood when I'm on my own, but as soon as I talk to anyone and they say something that I can interpret negatively (even if they didn't mean it that way), I start properly sobbing, and it can be over the tiniest thing!
