So my first child is 1 and four months and I got the deppo just after she was born and I was due it on the 1st of August 2016 and never went for it so been off it just over a month now.

Me and partner have decided we want another child I'm going to buy some ovulation test but I haven't had a period yet
Can you still get pregnant even if I haven't had a period yet

No, the fact that you've not had a period means you haven't ovulated. No egg, no baby. How long has it been since the shot wore off? Maybe head to your GP and see if they're willing to give you something to jump start your cycle?

Yes, you can get pregnant without a period. You will ovulate around two weeks before a period, so before your first period off contraception or after pregnancy, you will have ovulated.

I was on the depo before DD1, I was told it can take up to 12 months to completely wear off and actually took 11 months to fall pregnant. With DD2 I was on the coil which restores body to normal straight after removal and I fell pregnant straight away before I even had my first period. So in my experience the depo is definitely slower to get out of your system than other methods so I wouldn't expect anything to happen straight away. But be patient, it will happen x

You can still ovulate and not have a period, it happened to me as the pill messed up my cycles.

Or else - you can get pregnant after your first ovulation. So be aware that you might always be pregnant, even if your period hasn't returned.

You can definitely get pregnant without having had a period!
I had my contraceptive implant removed 22nd January this year, and estimated date of conception is somewhere around valentines weekend. I did not have a period. 33+5 with DC2 now.
