Hands up if like me you are sooooo excited about Bridget's baby!
How is poor Bridget going to cope with childbirth?
Bet she goes for an epidural!
I can't wait to find out whether Mark or Jack is the daddy - what if it's neither?!

This really made me smile :) so nice and lighthearted in the midst of all the posts. I too am excited about BJB because you can guarantee it will trivialise everything and make us all feel much better!

I'm going to see it tomorrow with a bunch of girlfriends. Am 12 weeks this week and some of them don't know so I'm going to 'come out' to them tomorrow. I know it will be a ridiculous film but I LOVE Bridget Jones and I guarantee I will cry at every stage of her pregnancy Blush

Just back from the cinema and I loved it! My husband is always calling me Bridget because if the stupid things I do, and now I'm 6 months pregnant it seemed only right to go and see it on opening night! I cried almost all the way through though-what a softie!!

I saw it yesterday and cried and laughed all the way through! It's Bridget but they've done such a good job with showing her as older and a bit wiser but still ridiculous and lovable. I'm going again 😁😁

Agree. I was prepared for it to be a bit disappointing, like so many comebacks are, but I laughed and cried the whole time. Mind you, I am approximately 527 months pregnant, so my emotional thresholds aren't great at the moment.

Oh yes I'm looking forward to this, the trailer looks very funny!

I'm glad they opted for a different plotline than what the third book had, as I found that quite depressing.
