It happened a week ago too then he picked up again but since last night he's been quiet. Still the odd little movement but not as many as normal and not as strong so I'm thinking perhaps he's turned a different way?

The advice is never be afraid that you are wasting people's time getting this checked. I would ring the hospital and arrange for a once-over/scan.

I'm 21+3 and movements have been much less the past 3 days. Hospital weren't interested when I rang this morning 😕

Hi, I'm 23 weeks too and went to get checked out at the hospital last night for the exact same reason. When it's your first pregnancy and they tell you to be worried with reduced movements, it's hard not to worry. My hospital were great and said I did the right thing to get checked out. Maybe give them a call and see what they say. I think in my case the little one was just having a few lazy days as the heartbeat was strong! Good luck xx

I was told not to worry about patterns of movements until at least 26 weeks because they are not noticeable enough before then?

Like PotteringAlong I was told not to bother starting a kick count until further along, although I was told 28 weeks (I'm 27 weeks today).

Every scan and appointment I've had everything has been normal but I do have an anterior placenta and he's in the Frank Breech position at the moment but he's got 13 weeks to move his little butt to where it should be!

I too was told at my 16 week appointment a few weeks ago not to worry about patterns until 26-28 weeks as they could simply have shifted to a position where you can't get feel it.

The 'kick count' website has some good advice also has an app you can download to record them- that way you will have a proper record of how much it is reduced when u visit midwife

Thanx everyone but I decided not to go because I felt him turn around and he's been booting me ever since! He was having a party In there last night and he's back to moving everytime I sit down to eat or drink. So I think he was just facing the other way! X
