99% sure I'm pregnant, give me courage...

I've named changed for this one, Im a regular lurker but rarely post.

So..I am 99% sure I am pregnant, I am on the mini pill and take it as instructed, never late.

Please don't say POAS, That's the bit I need courage for, but I will go and buy a test when I haven't got the kids with me don't want the 'are you mad' look from the cashier
I have 3 children, all under 4, I didn't want anymore babies for a LONG time, if ever. DH doesn't want any more, I'm yet to let him in on this maybe baby knowledge.

With all my previous pregnancies I just knew, I felt pregnant with the biggest give away being my boobs tingling like mad (like milk let down feeling) which I've only ever had in pregnancy. I've had this for about a week now and no period which I've still been having on the pill, I feel like I am pregnant. I don't remember the exact date of my last period but it was more than a month ago (but not much more).

Hooopefully this is just the pill doing odd things to my body, but if it's not..what the hell do I do! I'd have 4 under 5! We would just about manage but it's not something we ever intended to happen. I know abortion is an option but I just don't know if I'd be able to do it.

Of course I could just be paranoid and I take a test, big fat happy negative and Aunt Flo brings me extra Chocolate for causing so much worry.

Give me the courage to take a test! I can't just ignore this and hope for the best can I?

Well, not really. The sooner you take a test, the sooner you can begin to make a plan in your mind. Fortunately, you'll no doubt have lots of things already, and hopefully the siblings will be close. But definitely find out sooner rather than later, so you can sort out what you need in terms of help and make it a bit easier on yourself. Good luck!

Be brave and do a test. There's no point stressing yourself out when you might not even be pregnant! 4 under 5 would be very hard work but it's doable! Smile

You can do it!

Go and get that test.

It could be negative so don't fret too much yet

Depending on what minipill you're on it could be that, I used to be on cerazette and side effects off coming off that is pregnancy symptoms when monthly cycle is due!

Now go POAS, the sooner you know 1 way or the other the sooner you can get your head around it all!

Tell your DH first, share the worry. ((Hugs)) to you and fingers crossed for whatever result you want.

DH is back late from work and won't be home for another hour, looks like no POAS for me tonight!

Buy one tomorrow. Even with the kids in tow

Sales assistants see many pregnancy tests being sold. I doubt they will give yours a second glance

Contraception can do very strange things at times, so it could be just that.

If in the case that you are then I'm sure you will make the right decision for you and your family. 4 under 5 is manageable... It seems daunting but it is fine. I have 5 children my oldest is 7 my younger 4 are 5 and under. When I had my youngest 8 weeks ago my younger three were 2,1 and newborn. Yes it is hard but I get by and I wouldn't have it any other way now even though when I found out I was pregnant I was absolutely terrified.

Try not to think and worry too much until you have a definite answer. Easier said than done I know.

Good luck 🍀

Whatever the results, it will work out. It's always better to know, than to worry about unknowns... thats just a waste of energy. Knowledge is power and all that.

Good luck.
