Help.

I am 33. was TTC for 1 year and then finally got pregnant in April 2006. had an MC at 4.5 week. Again pregnant and MC in October 2006 at 8 weeks, and the cause was trisomy 21. Again pregnant right now, but my 6.5 week and 7.5 week ultrasounds showed the fetus was 1 week behind its gestational age and the heatbeat only 50 bpm. The doctors said I coudl just get a D&C but I dont want to give up hope. Does anyone have a happy ending? In some ways, I have given up but you can't say its over til its over.

Thank you in advance.

I hope everything works out jomax. Personally I wouldn't have a d & c or anything until that heart beat has totally stopped because you never know. My fingers are crossed for you. xxx

i am keeping everything crossed you for. Having recently had my 12 wk scan where they were unable to detect a heartbeat i know how painful all this can be. I will be thinking of you.

I had a happy ending - I had 3 MCs (7weeks, 7 weeks and 9weeks) lots of tests - found to have antiphospolipid antibody syndrome (blood clotting problem) and over active thyroid - now have 3 dcs - 5, 2 annd 6 months! Hideous going through it - but the happy ending is fun!

Best wishes - push for tests and don't give up.... they usually do the tests after 3 mc and find an underlying cause in 50% of cases
