I've posted a few times recently Saturday had contractions all day they got regular then died out, yesterday the same but then woke up about 2am with uncomfortable contractions slept on and off until 4 when they got closer and kept me awake. I'm still sitting timing them but they don't seem to be in a good pattern not sure if this is just another false alarm.

They have been sore enough to take some of my prescribed co codamol 8/500 I can still feel them but its taken the edge off. First labour I was induced it went pretty quickly for an induction and was very painful from the beginning this is so different in unsure. I've attached screen shots of timings (there is a 10 min gap at 6.12 but I did have one in the middle I forgot to log it)

I had quite a lot of this with dd who ended up being late! If you get up and walk about and they ease up they're BH but if they carry on and get more intense then they're the real thing. With dd eventually my waters went in the middle of the night and then contractions started so I knew then that they were proper ones. Which ever way it won't be long!

Yep sounds like it.

I rang my midwife as was having these sorts of contractions with my second. I instinctively knew that birth was close - it wasn't until I told her it was my second that she told me to come in.

Dd arrived about 2 hours after that call Grin

Have you lost any mucus ??
My labour began like this with my first but it woke me up when it first began with an ache in my back and my mucus plug gushing out. They pains were irregular and would stop the come back more painful and be regular then stop, then come back irregular again. The whole time I was spotting so knew I was in early labour. Anyways it began 5am on a Thursday morning and it wasn't until the Sunday the pains were 10minuets and they hurt. I couldn't sleep this time they just stayed at 10 minuets then went to 9 minuets and I was crying every time I had one, not because the pain was so bad but because after 4 days is quite had enough lol!! I went into hospital for pain relief. I got my epidural because I was 5cm wooooop!! And slept lol!!! X

Yea looks like it. Call your MW. If you can go to Maternity triage then go, they will give you a check over and monitoring to see what your contractions are doing. Good luck.

So it is early labour but not progressing and little ds2 is getting quiet in there so they have decided to induce me to get him out. Luckily a sweep at 5 had got me to 3cm dislodged my plug and I'm having slightly painful contractions so I'm already on the way. I've also swung a private room so dp can stay with me due to my anxiety about my last inductions hopefully I should have a baby soon 😁

Still nothing another night of everything stopping when I went to sleep 😞 having a wee cry now and thinking about asking to go for section (had one planned for 41 weeks feel like I've spent my whole pregnancy recovering from my first birth and am being pushed back into the dark place with all this.

Get up on your feet for a walk about (if you haven't already lol) I'm sure the contractions will pick up again for you. Has a MW checked you at all?

At least you're in the hospital, the wouldn't have admitted you if they didn't think it was happening. Have you got something you can chill and watch a movie on to distract yourself and enjoy your last bit of relaxation time before the baby comes?

Still only 2cm but the contractions are lasting longer waiting on some pain relief then off out for a walk and fresh air.

I'm missing ds very much which is making it harder. I think the plan is to tag me on to the end of the planned sections so if its not happening by 3/4 I will be sectioned but at least it will be done feeling very tired and emotional now. Never again I mean it Wink
