My dads brother is visiting the county this week and seeing family. He moved away years ago. Last time I saw him was 10 years ago. We aren't a close family by any means I have cousins for eg I don't know.


Uncle is at my dads today with my dads sister. I was going to go round and visit but this would mean an hour and a half on 2 different busses. I'm suffering awful pregnancy sickness and I have a doc appointment in the morning so would have to come home today too. My dad just phoned and asked if they could come here. A feeling of dred came over me and I said its not a good idea. I feel awful, the house is a mess, the doc gave me some pills yesterday to try and help with sickness but they left me tossing and turning all night and I cant keep my eyes open. I'm feeling guilty now but honestly I feel rough. Was I wrong? My dad isn't very happy but I've told him how ill I have been.

I would honestly try not worry..does your dad know your pregnant?

Yes dad knows I'm pregnant. I booked this week off but I've spent the whole time feeling ill

Rest as much as you can. Try not to feel guilty. If they care about you it won't bother them and im sure you can arrange a visit in future when you feel better.
