What have I forgotten?

38 weeks with DC3 and have finally gotten round to packing the hospital bag...better late than never!

Problem is that I'm using the exact same cases for this one that I took on both previous occasions but this time they look decidedly empty Confused Not sure if it's because I've streamlined it based on having come home from hospital twice before with half an unused case to unpack or if it's because I'm 38 weeks and can barely remember my name, let alone what I need to take with me.

Please can anyone throw out some ideas of what I might have forgotten to pack this time round?! I'm at a loss and staring at the case just isn't helping! Thanks Smile

Something to walk about in, I like flip flops. Good for inside/outside and the shower.

In this heat I'd probably take a mini fan or at least some magi cool spray.

A bin bag for dirties.

Thanks for the replies!

A missing box of breast pads is probably making a difference in terms of space as I'm not taking some this time. Was home before my milk came in last time so weren't needed.

Mini fan is probably a good idea but I don't have a small one and I know the minute I click 'purchase' online for one, the weather will break! Still, better to have one than not, especially on a stifling maternity ward!

Thanks for all the suggestions Smile

Please press click on purchase myballetshoes... GrinGrin I'm 37+3 and can't cope any longer with this heat!!
You sound like me! I haven't packed my bag properly yet it's just sat there open with a few boxes sticking out of it, this is my first baby I don't know why I'm procrastinating so much!! 😬

You sweat buckets after birth so big loose t shirts for you are needed. Also, snacks and cartons for you.

thats - good reminder about the food, thanks for that.

Thanks for the link Sophia. I guess at £2, it doesn't matter if it gets used!

Ilikegin - will purchase a fan and think of all the uncomfortable pregnant women out there whilst doing so! And you're making headway on your bag if you've got boxes etc within the vicinity of it! What finally spurred me on was considering what DH would put in it if he had to scramble one together in an emergency!
