I'm 32 weeks and was advised by midwife to start packing now.

I'll start packing when I'm on mat leave, but after my trip which takes place at 37 weeks. Dh will probably raid it for snacks before baby arrives. There's only so much you can pack in advance anyway.

I packed mine this week at 34 weeks - second baby but I think with my first I backed at about 28 weeks!

Place marking as I am also 32 weeks and am getting a bit overwhelmed at what to pack for me and baby!

37 weeks. Although didn't end up being properly done until nearer 38!

I've read 32w is the ideal time to be ready!

I'm 26+4 and am just starting to research now - hoping to be all set by 32w!

I'd pack it soon! Started packing mine yesterday and needed it today as admitted for monitoring. Hopefully I'll be going home rather than having to deliver though. I'm 35+5.

When my waters had broken last time and chances are I won't be much more organised this time around! It's fine, first babies in particular usually give you fair warning.

Nearly 36 and not fully done yet lol. I still need nighties!

37 weeks, still a bit paranoid that I've forgotten something obvious!

I did mine yesterday (37 +3). First time round I did it around 35 weeks but that was only because I was going to holiday for a week at 36 weeks so needed to take it with me Smile

I did most of mine yesterday at 39+4. Was definitely more prepared with DC1!

Started at 28 weeks following a bleed and trip to hospital.

Finished it at 38 weeks, just after my waters broke! Forgot to pack a going home outfit for me!

I'm 32 weeks and it's sort of half packed with a list for the rest!

26 weeks and done baby's bag just starting to research my items for mine

I did mine at about 37 weeks, probably a good idea to do it a little earlier though.

One tip is to over pack for baby; I had to send DP home for more romper suits as DD leaked poo all over all the ones I brought for her!

38+5 here and have packed a bag for the baby (did this two weeks ago) but not for me. Having my third baby and an ELCS on Tuesday so I'll probably do it tomorrow, have made a list though so that's a start.

Hospital bag? Umm... I think I have some stuff here somewhere...Grin

I'm 34 weeks. I've vaguely considered I should get on with it but tbh I'm hot and lazy.

I will probably pack it between contractions. Can you tell it's not my first?

What sort of size bag are people taking? I'm packing mine (37 weeks) and want to be prepared with enough stuff without looking like a total loonie and turning up with far too much.

I packed an emergency bag at 32 weeks with 1 nightie, pack of pants, travel sized shower gel&shampoo, 1 outfit for baby and a few handful of nappies/breast pads/maternity pads. I will be adding more baby clothes this week (36) once they are all washed. Clothes hair brush and make up can all be chucked in the bag on the way to hospital.

Im 28 weeks and was thinking the other day I should start packing it very soon! Rather it be sat ready than worrying about finding everything in time :)

I think I was 32 weeks then I got my husband to empty it again while i listed what was in it, then repack it at 37 weeks. That was mainly so he knows what's in it and where everything is though.

34 weeks with DD, on my way out the door to be admitted to hospital! Wish I'd done it sooner as I didn't have everything I needed, had to send my mum to the shops for nursing bras, maternity pads and nappies Blush
