Pregnant with #2 and I'm just so fricking tired

Nearly 8 weeks pregnant, I'm 38, have a 23 month old and I'm so tired I can barely function. I remember being tired with #1 but don't think it was this bad. I work a high demanding job which I do cope fine with, because I have to, then after nursery pick-up, dinner, bath and bed with DS1 I'm just ready to collapse. Today I've had DS all day as I work 4 days and despite a short trip to soft play this morning, when he's not been napping, he's watched TV most of the day as I just have zero energy. DH is great, does loads around the house (and often takes over bed duties if he's home in time) so no issues there. Does the tiredness get better with second pregnancy or do I just need to suck it up?

I hear you. I'm 36 and 19+w pregnant with DC3. My kids are on summer holidays just now and want to DO THINGS WITH ME all the time!!! This morning I had a bath (shower broken - sigh!) then had to go for a rest afterwards! I am so sleepy all the time and feel like my body is full of lead when I drag it round with me!

I was last pregnant at 29 and although I had a toddler at the time, it definitely wasn't this hard so I think (for me!) it's an age thing!!

I'm 34 and expecting number 3. I don't work a typically demanding job but I'm shattered by the time I come home. My other children are 8 and 7 so are ok to be left to amuse themselves a bit if I nap. Trouble Is I feel dreadful when I wake Sad 9 times out of 10 I'm sick. My dh works evenings so I'm left to do dishes bath etc and he is useless at house work

I'm 34 weeks (29 yrs old if that makes a difference) this time has been so much harder. I've just gave in and done what I could not worried about what I couldn't after a scare when I exhausted myself, I ended up having to walk home alone dizzy with tunnel vision and black spots in front of my eyes. I've since learned to take a break before I get tired then I can keep going longer.

I did have the whole of the second trimester feeling pretty good thankfully.
