Could I be feeling my baby already?

I'm 15 weeks and when I lay in bed at night on my back, I feel like I can feel what I can only describe as heart beat type pulses in my tummy, like inside. Could this be the baby or am I just sending my own heartbeat because I'm laying quiet and still and concentrating on it?

It's probably the pulse in your Aorta (biggest artery in the body). If it feels rhythmical it's probably that.

Felt all of mine at 15 weeks so it's possible-i was told it is more common if you're very slim. It's a very distinctive feeling so if it's something you've not felt before then it's probably baby moving !

I certainly felt mine at 15/16 weeks, so you're not far off.

Most probably it's wind. Grin

I felt a couple of flutters around 15/16 weeks when I was in the bath one day.

How would you describe the flutters feel?

I've never felt a flutter sensation. More of a poke inside your tummy.

If it's rhythmic pulses it probably is an artery i think. I felt mine at about 15 or 16 weeks, though - everyone said it would feel like butterflies but it felt more like butterflies with hobnail boots on.

I felt my baby at 15 weeks. Felt like rain drops on a tent... Then like a gold fish when it got bigger lol

That sounds just like the first movements I felt with DS - and I was 13 weeks so it's definitely possible that is what you are feeling. It got stronger and by 16 weeks other people could feel it from the outside. I was very skinny back then though, not sure if that makes a difference?

It's your pulse if it's rhymithic. I get the same feelings and it does feel similar to kicks sometimes, but the kicks are much more erratic, even now at almost 23 weeks.

I felt DS from about 15 weeks. I was semi-lying on my tummy in bed and it felt like someone was flicking me from the inside.

There was no question what it was, and it continued to feel like that for a few weeks after.
