Did anyone get married at around 16 weeks pregnant?

Hi ladies, I am getting married in just under 7 weeks time, and I'm pregnant (16+5). I am currently suffering MS. I feel very sorry for myself, but I am actually only sick once a day/nauseous on and off throughout the day.

How did you ladies feel at 16/17 weeks pregnant? I am so concerned that I'll be sick whilst saying my vows!! HAHA.

My dress fitting me is the last of my worries.

Has anyone any experience/advice?

I was around 20 weeks. I wasn't sick at all, I felt great.

Are you 16 weeks now or will you be 16 weeks at the wedding? I'm confused.

Thanks MaisieDotes, I'll be 16+5 at the wedding, I am 8+1 now. Feeling awful X

Oh ok! No, you'll be fine. If you had HG you'd know by now and normal morning sickness tends to disappear as you move out of the first trimester.

Some very unfortunate people have it for longer but the laws of probability say you'll be fine Smile

I was a bridesmaid when I was about 25 weeks and aside from a bit of tiredness felt fine. I'm pregnant with #2 (7 weeks) and feel horrendous but with #2 it was like a switch flicked at 13 weeks and I felt totally fine again. I think the scan or just after is quite a common time to feel ok again.

When I was pregnant with #1 that should say!

And I know you haven't asked but at 16 weeks I barely showed first time around. Bump popped around 22 weeks although my boobs had got much bigger by that point!

Thank you. It's weird, my initial reaction was "MY DRESS". Then sickness kicked in, and I'm suddenly more concerned that I am going to be sick! HA. I have headaches and just feel generally rubbish. Hoping it passes really soon, because if the wedding was tomorrow, I'd be really concerned! X

I got married at 16 weeks. Had very bad morning sickness. I lost 5kg between 8 weeks and 16 weeks so I was skinny with big boobs and almost no bump! my appetite was still a bit off and I got a bit tired but we had a great day.

I was as sick as a dog between weeks 8-13 then nothing for the rest, I got married at 7 months and didn't buy my dress until the week before cause I was growing daily Grin

I got married at 13 weeks, I was still feeling nauseous so my mum secretly fed me crisps all day Grin I was pretty shattered by about 8pm but I lasted until the end. Swapped my heels for flats after the photos.

Much worse. I got married at 7 months pregnant!! 🙈 We planned the wedding in six weeks, after being engaged only for a few months, spontaneously decided.. You know what lets do it now. We did it for just over a grand (honeymoon included) with no savings behind us, just careful budgeting and buying parts in bits and good friends and family. I was getting told there was a risk I could pop early too, but thank god my waters didn't go during the ceremony. I don't think it matters how pregnant you are, or physical symptoms on the day. I had two hours sleep, and quite seriously was the best day of my life. Was absolutely shattered but didn't stop smiling the whole day. Was so nervous, anxious, impatient, excited, and couldn't of pictured a more magical day even if we had a ridiculous amount of money to spend and spent longer planning. It's such a blur. Honestly you'll be fine and congratulations 😊 💕 Xx
