I am soooo nervous about being pregnant...I was told I would unlikely be able to have children and I am scared of loosing my first child. I havnt had morning sickness yet and I keep reading that peoples breast get larger around this time but mine have had no change? Is this normal?
Flowers congratulations to all the mums and dads to be out there!! xx

Aaaaw. I'm the same. Let's stick together! My husband and I started trying 5 years ago but I was diagnosed with cancer. I was told the treatment would leave me infertile. After my chemo I was told I was definitely infertile and had zero chance of having my own baby. 5 years later here I am! The surge in hormones is potentially dangerous for me, so I will need to go back on medication afterwards so this is my one shot and I am so scared of something going wrong. We haven't told a soul and hope to get away with not telling anyone until the 20 week scan. I want to sit back, relax, make plans, but part of me just feels that this is just too good to be true as the last 5 years have been so tough. X

Oh bellabelloo that is fantastic news about being pregnant for you! I am so sorry to hear about the cancer. I have a scan on Thursday and waiting until then before I tell my mum as she's becoming suspicious as to why I keep going to the doctors and hospital lol! But I'm keeping it a secret until week 12 xx

I have read that once you see a heartbeat the risk of miscarriage falls to 5%. Have you heard the same? X

Hi there, please may I join? I'm 5 weeks 6 days pregnant after 5 years of secondary infertility. Very nervous but had a scan yesterday and saw the little heartbeat. Another scan in 2 weeks, gonna be torture waiting. No symptoms at all yet.

Hi Tillyann. Of course!! Congrats! Do you feel more confident in the pregnancy now? X

Hello Tillyann! What is secondary infertility if you don't mind me asking? I wish I could have a scan once a week hahahahaha!

Bellabelloo - good luck at your scan, hope to hear about it after Smile when I went to the early pregnancy clinic they scanned me and showed me the small heartbeat so I hope what you say is true. Good luck. Xx

Hey ladies, it's lovely to have so many people to speak to! I am suffering with morning sickness, mostly in the AM when I get off the train. I must admit, I've been struggling with low moods as well. Hoping that excitement will kick in soon. Has anyone else been feeling very low? X

I feel generally quite flat. I keep reminding myself that this magical thing is happening inside me and I am so so lucky. I think when the head fogginess and sickness goes, maybe I'll feel better?

I am getting married soon too (I'll be 18 weeks at the wedding). So I am hoping I feel better for that too. X

Found out yesterday that I'm pregnant with my first one, I think I'm about 4 weeks but haven't got an appointment with GP until Friday! It doesn't feel real yet, I can't believe it Grin

Ahh congratulations Zannahhhh! I didn't understand the dates. I knew when I conceived, but it's taken from the first day of your last period X

Hey MrsM Grin yeah, the test I did yesterday showed "pregnant 1-2 weeks" and the first day of my last period was 05/06/16, so that makes me 4 weeks right? So new to this! Obvs the doctor will confirm on Friday Smile

Yes, I think so!! HAHA :) that's great news. have you had any symptoms? I find it confusing... I keep worrying I am not as far as I think because of when I conceived.

Awww congratulations zannaahh. I couldn't remember my last period date as they have always been messed up! I think the GP will usually send you to an early pregnancy unit. They sent me the next day from my appointment and they estimated me as 6 weeks plus 5 days (that was then, I'm now 8 weeks 3 days)
I'm having another scan Thursday for dating/viability scan...not sure what that's about but so scared!! Good luck xx

MrsM, the only symptoms I have are these weird pulling/stretching sensations, like little twinges really low down in my belly? And a bit of bloating, but that's all.

Don't want to upset anyone who's trying to conceive but I'm amazed I got pregnant so quick, I literally had my coil taken out just under a month ago. So surreal right now, I can't get my head around it! x

Louise, thank you! What are the first few tests they do? I'm awful with needles (really bad panic attacks) so I'm dreading blood tests but it's got to be done!! x
