I might need to be induced at 39 weeks what should I expect?

I stayed in the night before and had checks done
You might get a pessary to soften your cervix which is a tablet thing they pop inside you I think? I didn't get it as was already 3cm dilated for weeks.

Then up early next day, got a shower and then took me up to break waters.

I was on a syntocin drip to speed up contractions and that usually brings you along fairly quickly.

I think labour can be a bit more painful as it goes from zero to bam contractions so ask before what pain relief options are.
