Today I am having a bad day

So last night I was utterly shattered and went to bed early. I'm not sleeping deeply though as if you talk to me I'll answer you! I'm also snoring badly which isn't helping my other half right now. I am seriously hoping the snoring stops when I have baby as it's just not good!! Other half went downstairs to sleep as I was keeping him awake, which is fine. I then spent the whole night tossing and turning, sweating, needing a wee and just generally getting wound up. I got up for work utterly shattered.

I'm not coping in the clammy weather, I am sweating buckets. My midwife told me yesterday I have a water infection which has been symptomless until today where I am itchy and uncomfortable but have to wait for test result on sample before my antibiotics can sort this. I think I have thrush which is fecking brilliant.

I desperately need my hair cutting but the girl that does it seems to have fallen off the edge of the world and isn't answering messages.

I'm currently in the bath and starting to feel human for the first time all day. I think I'm constipated which is also a wonderful addition.

If we have another I will be doing my damnedest to make sure I'm not heavily preggers in the hot months! I am very much hoping tomorrow is a better day. I can't bear humidity when I'm not pregnant but it's ten times worse when I am.

Needed to moan and share my irritation. On the plus side baby is moving around and that's making me smile - I love watching it move around!

Oh dear! You're entitled to a bad day or 50. Get a thrush pessary asap (you are allowed to use them in pregnancy, don't tell pharmacist you're pregnant and insert with finger not the applicator) and drink lots of water to help with the probable wee infection. Eat some chocolate then lie on the bed naked (as its hot!) with a book.

Baths are amazing when you're feeling rubbish aren't they? Hope you feel better soon x

Sharing your pain OP. I had an awful nights sleep too - cannot get comfortable, up twice for a wee and ended up with a spasm in my neck which has lasted all day. Today was so ridiculously hot and oppressive, I am on day 6 of a 7 day working straight, and I also have thrush (used the pessary 2 days ago and think it is finally working so I agree with getting that sorted asap - can you get oh to pop to supermarket for you?). I also concur that when baby moves it makes everything feel worthwhile (as does a bath - good idea) but you're perfectly entitled to a moan every now and again. Hope you feel better soon.

I may have difficulty not letting the pharmacist know I'm preggers! It's a bit obvious lol. Are pessaries and cream ok? I know I can't take the canesten tablet.

The bath made me feel great and I love watching my bump as its so lively then.

I'm drinking cranberry juice as well as lots of fluids. I have loved being pregnant but this downhill run is causing me a few issues! Thankfully things like blood pressure and iron levels and such are all fine.

No rumpy pumpy for a bit I don't think! It's too hot and I'm too sore lol

How far along are you? I'm 34 weeks and feel like I could have written this! I slept so appallingly last night - felt like I was just dozing and kept finding myself awake with my thoughts racing. I'm fed up of needing to wee constantly too, but if I don't keep myself hydrated then I feel faint and risk passing out. And the heat is making that so much worse. I've got mild SPD so can't walk very far, and get a back ache however I sit down (lower back pain if I slouch on sofa; between the shoulder blades if I'm on a hard chair). My heartburn has been awful too and I have had no enjoyment of food for this whole pregnancy! Which is all to say, you are not alone! But yes, feeling him move about makes it all worthwhile (though even that is starting to hurt a bit!)

32 weeks. Heartburn sufferer this evening sadly but I feel comfortable laid in bed. I've suffered with my hips at night recently but that's getting better. The muscle knots in my back not so much, I've had to get my OH to knead them out several times this week. Work are being great at the mo and I have four weeks left.

It's getting heavier to carry around I have to say but I know there's not long left now'

My GP and the pharmacist recommended drinking barley water - the proper stuff is more expensive (there are two types when you actually look at the bottles) - for thrush. I can't remember the explanation now but it made sense at the time and helped me too.
