Keep an eye on the gov.uk website. We're in the same position at the moment, but zika hasn't reached the Canary Islands yet. The minute I hear it's in the country we are visiting we'll be going elsewhere.

Good luck!!

We booked our belated honeymoon to Costa Rica (a week before I got pregnant) for July so are frantically trying to find somewhere else to go at the last minute! I think Europe is generally ok, the CDC website seems up to date.

If you've booked and are worried, I was told by flight operator that I just need to get a letter from docs saying I'm pregnant and they will refund, as will most hotels.

Check if the species of mosquito that carries Zika (there are two) is present in Majorca. From what I can remember I don't think it is but worth checking!

We're booked for Croatia in September when I'll be 30w... I'm keeping an eye on it for now but if it hits Europe we'll change destination. There are only so many places Zika can transmit due to the type of mosquito that carries it and where they live. It can't transmit within the UK, for example!
