ideas to rehydrate

I have been suffering from awful nausea for about a week. Been sick too. It's got quite bad as one thing I have gone off is fluids and drinking. I am now quite badly dehydrated.

My doctor has given me 3 days of nausea pills in the hope that they mean I drink more. I am forcing myself to sip water but it's a struggle.

Are there any other ways that I can rehydrate? I've gone off tea, squash, fizzy drink etc.

Jelly and ice lollies. Watermelon. I remember crying for an hour after I had an ice lolly because I couldn't believe how much better I felt.

I second ice lollies or sucking on crushed ice. Can you stomach cucumber sticks or melon cubes? Even freezing ice cube trays of diluted Ribena to nibble on? I always found it easier to sip sparking mineral water than flat water. The fizziness seemed to help settle my tummy I suppose in a way similar to those effervescent salts.
I know it's not soup weather at the mo, but I couldn't get enough of miso soup when I was pregnant and nauseous. I got those little paste sachets by a company called itsu (just from Tesco) and you add hot water.

You can make you're own electrolyte drink OP. It has salt, sugar/honey, lemon juice topped with water. Check online for recipes. Balancing electrolytes lost through dehydration can make the difference. (you can leave the lemon out I think). Sorry I haven't got my old recipe but used this when I climbed snowdon....as taxing as what we are doing now I'd say.

I was at a stage where even water wasn't staying down. My OH mixed up diaoralyte and froze. He then crushed the ice cubes for me to suck. Worked wonders!

Lucozade sport in ice cubes? Think it's better for rehydration than water/squash alone.

Also, I like frozen grapes. Sounds weird I know but it works.
