Had toxoplasmosis before, does that mean I'm more at risk now?

Hi, I'm 15 weeks pregnant with my 4th pregnancy (the furthest I've ever got and so far everything looks good! ). I got toxoplasmosis many years ago as a teenager and was quite poorly for 6 months or so. I was just wondering if anyone knows if this makes me more or less at risk of getting it again? I can't help but crave rare steak....

I am pretty sure from my ridiculously over-anxious pregnancy days, that it's the opposite , you're immune.

I risk the steak anyway, but yes I'm pretty sure you're immune, so from a toxoplasmosis point of view you could have it tartare!!

I had it from a friends cat scratching me. Had surgery on my neck to remove the lumps.

When I got pregnant a couple of years later I brought this up and was told I would be immune.

I thought it was undercooked lamb? It's what I was told at the time. Is it all meat now?

It's mainly lambs, and yes; you'll be completely immune now

Yes you will be immune but still use it as an excuse not to clean up cat poo

Here in the UK, they say it can come from any undercooked meat, or cats of course. Luckily I don't have a cat so I'm safe there. I forgot to mention it to my midwife the other week though hence the post - thank you everyone for responding, appreciate your help

I had lumps in my neck too, lemonpledge, fortunately they went away with the medication though. The biopsy was bad enough, I'm glad I didn't need to get them cut out!
