Currently 31w with DS2, I should start by saying that DS1 arrived very quickly at 35w and we've been told I'm at high risk of pre-term labour so this might be clouding my judgement somewhere…
Anyway, since 28w I'm fairly sure I've been loosing my plug and currently darling DS2 is measuring the size of your average 34 weeker according to a recent scan (and my bleeding stretch marks 
)Fine, I know this is common and doesn't really mean too much and measurements can be taken with a pinch of salt.
For the past 3 days the BHs have really ramped up a gear. They're very frequent throughout the day (but not painful just uncomfortable) and during the evenings they can easily be every few minutes for a few hours. Again, this hasn't worried me too much as I have been fairly active this week and I know this can increase BH.
However, for the past 48 hours movement has been extremely low down(pubic bone region) and I'm getting increasingly painful and sharp pains which I can only describe as baby pushing down and feeling like somethings going to 'pop', like if a joint needs to click. They're so painful i have let out a few yelps 
DH is convinced that this is a sign things are moving but I'm not convinced and think that this 'risk of pre-term labour' is making him far too cautious.
So, someone please tell me this is fine and I can tell DH to please calm down dear and look forward to the tub of chocolate fudge ice cream I have in the freezer for this evening?

I was afraid someone was going to say that 
whilst lovely everything is 'oh fairly standard' to my midwife. I'm pretty certain my boobs could develop bright orange polka dots and she would still tell me it was normal.
I have a MW appointment tomorrow morning so I'm sure I can wait until 11am? Did I mention the chocolate fudge ice team contains REAL vanilla fudge pieces?!
(Please note that I'm being fairly light hearted here and if I was seriously concerned about baby I would go to the MAU in a flash!)
Ah I'm so jealous. That looks yummy and from a local dairy even better.
When I lived in Cornwall there was an icecream made from clotted cream.....yum yum yum
Enjoy!! And yes I feel your pain. I'm 31 weeks and baby is literally pushing so hard down, maybe it's because we're on our 2nd there is more 'give'?
Fingers crossed your one stay puts until 37 weeks.

But hopefully having more give will lead to a very easy labour second time round?! Maybe a quick sneeze and it'll all be over 
I will speak to the midwife tomorrow but won't be running out to buy newborn nappies just yet!

I think the thing worrying DH is that labour with DS happened at the speed of light. Waters broke out of nowhere, by the time we reached the hospital to be checked I was 6cms and wheeled down to the labour ward and DS joined us shortly after
Don't want to worry you stinky - labour with DC1 was around 5 hours, and an hour and a half with DC2! 
Better get the car engine started.

If my second labour is 90minutes long he's welcome to come whenever he wants, my ice cream won't have even had time to melt

Nothing to add to your possible predicament but a high-five from another at 31w with DC2, who had an earlyish arrival of DC1 at 37+4 with no early signs of labour then, so who knows?!
I bought newborn nappies yesterday though, so I win

The bugger is breech. Midwife said that that could explain why his movements are so painful as they're all concentrated in the same area.
Have finally picked up some newborn nappies though
