Pregnancy

22+1 excessive discharge concern

Hi All

I've read a few threads about waters leaking early and I'm getting a little concerned. I have had quite a lot of a milky coloured discharge, it generally happens in the morning when I start moving around. I did read on one of these pregnancy apps that you do get increased discharge at around this stage so thought nothing of it but these other threads have me worried.
What colour would waters be?

I think i read that waters have a specific smell to them if that helps?

I know its natural etc but the amount of panty liners I'm getting through is gross!!!

Forgot to add- if u are worried prob best to get it checked out. Prob normal, but good to know for sure and get your mind put at ease.

It's totally normal to get quite a bit of discharge in pregnancy - that's what yours sounds like to me.

Waters leaking will not look milky like discharge or smell like wee (isn't it fab being preggers?!), but I am not medically trained so if you are worried as others said give your midwife a call.

I'm currently on bed rest after my waters started leaking at 23+3. I've had a lot of increased discharge through my pregnancy but knew the leak was more than discharge, it was watery, clear and had a few brown/blood streaks through. The hospital tested the water leaking to confirm if it was amniotic fluid or not. I would call your midwife to check with her if your concerned but sounds like just normal discharge.
