It's my 2nd pregnancy, my first son is 8 y.o., so it was a while ago. I think it was much easier the first time though. Now I'm 31 weeks and get tired pretty much a couple hours after I wake up - really tired, and have this strong pulling sensation in my belly, very unpleasant. I also can sit in a chair for a long time, because I feel like everything in my belly gets really compressed. And finally, I'm constantly gasping for breath... Anyone has similar symptoms? Do they mean anything, like that labour is imminent?

Hi Liska I'm 32 weeks here 2nd pregnancy too. I'm uncomfortable most of the time too. I have pelvic girdle pain and +/- SPD. I find I easily get out of breath even sometimes just having a conversation and I cant catch my breath. This should improve as baby drops into pelvis, unfortunately this seems to make the pulling/dragging sensation worse. I think we just have to ride it out until baby makes an appearance. I've self referred to maternity physics for the pain in my hips/ pelvis. Maybe discuss with your midwife if this is an option for you. They may recommend a maternity support belt and tips for positioning. Thanks

Thanks beckslovestimmy, I think you accidentally posted about to physio several times! :-) I agree that this physio is helpful, I'm actually taking a maternity fitness class twice a week, which helps overall. But this pulling sensation has been present for the last couple of days non stop, it just doesn't go away. Could it be Braxton hicks contractions that are just continuing like that for hours? And the fact that I can't be sitting in a chair for a long time is really annoying... Especially that I'm still working full time. Anyway, hope it'll get better soon for both of us! Best of luck with the rest of your pregnancy!
