When will I start to feel better? Nausea, extreme tiredness, overly emotional, feeling cold, headaches... These are the main symptoms. I'm told that once in the second trimester I will start to blossom. Hard to believe. I'm eating a balanced diet, little and often and usually in bed start after dinner so I'm getting lots of sleep. The only thing I'm not doing is exercising because I'm so bloody tired! I work full time and self employed so I can not be off sick but I'm really struggling!
Any words of wisdom, home remedies, general advice is gratefully received Smile

I remember it well. I was going to bed at 4 in the afternoon, getting up at 6 for dinner and a shower. Back to bed for 7 and sleeping through until my alarm at 6. Well done for continuing to eat well. Usually when you have finished growing your placenta and it takes over you start to feel better. For me it was at 14 weeks.

No advice but sleep as much as you can and make sure you drink lots.

This may sound like a weird thing to say but feeling crap is good! Just take it easy, listen to your body and do what it's asking you to. Fingers crossed that you'll start to feel better soon and enjoy the next part of your pregnancy. If you don't start feeling better just remember that it's going to be sooo totally worth it in the end!

I'm at 12 weeks and still feeling like this but it is getting easier, sleep, sleep and more sleep, it will help massively. You are doing well to eat, I've not been eating properly for weeks! Light walks might help. Time will go quicker than you think xxx

Thank you for your messages. I went to see some friends who have a gorgeous 5 month old baby boy. I shared my news and they also reassured me that it will get easier Smile
Time for bed!
