Just after a bit of advice really, I have had really awful morning sickness I'm now 20 weeks.

2 days ago (Monday) I had streaks of bright red blood in my vomit and for the past two days I have had specs of blood and what looks like tiny blood clots coming up in the bile I'm throwing up. Sorry if it's tmi but I'm not really sure what to do?

I would say you've aggravated your stomach lining or throat by being sick which is understandable if you are being sick a lot. I would see if you could get something from the docs for being sick. Big hugs x

Call your doctor.

It's probably just where you have torn your stomach lining from vomiting

My dd had this when she was about 5 months. Scary but Dr's weren't concerned.

You definitely need to call someone though....

You poor thing Flowers

Go to your GP. The blood itself is probably not an issue - you may have just burst a blood vessel or something. But it is indicative of the fact that you are vomiting an awful lot, and you may well be dehydrated and need medical attention.

Thank you so much. I've called the gp and they have said there are no appointments. So not really sure what to do now. I'm not really worried about the amount of blood it's more that it could be q symptom of something more serious I suppose.

Do you have the number for your midwives office in your notes? Phone them, explain you can't get a doctors appointment but you're concerned. They might be able to help get you an appointment quicker
