Hi Ladies.
Friday 11th I took 2 superdrug early detection pregnancy tests that looked like they said positive. (I'll add the photo so you can see if I was going mad) then on the Saturday I decided to take a clear blue digital that can back negative so now I'm really confused as AF is due tomorrow but still had no symptoms that's it's on its way. I would be thankful fot any advice....
These are my symptoms that led me to believe that I could be pregnant...
1) nauseous waves
2) cramping
3) TMI...jelly like discharge
4) backache
5) gone off tea and coffee
6) mood swings
7) no signs that my period is on its way which I normally get these 1 week before AF is due such as migrane, eating like a pig, sore boobs, sore legs & period cramp

Do I test again or just asume I'm not pregnant?!?!

Honestly, wait and see if your period starts. Tests have different sensitivities, and can give different results.

Those tests definitely say pregnant. If you aren't due on yet then I wonder if the clearblue just isn't picking it up yet? Can you get to boots? Their own brand tests are very good and I found them to be very reliable.

those are definitely positive tests!! I've heard a lot of people say the clear blue aren't as accurate? I only used a home bargains cheap test.....im 30 weeks tomorrow!

I feel a congratulations are in order grin

LittleMrsSophieB Mon 14-Mar-16 09:58:50

Thanks for your replies.. I was thinking that myself about wether or not it was pickkng it up yet. but I think it's playing on my.mind more. Because I really hope I am as me and my hubby have been trying for a year now and I really don't want to be disappointed again x

LittleMrsSophieB Mon 14-Mar-16 10:00:09

Aww I really hope so! ☺ xx

Azulejo9 Mon 14-Mar-16 10:03:34

Looks like congratulations are in order, I can see definite lines on both tests. Faint but they are visible πŸ‘ΆπŸ‘Ά

NotWithoutMyMerkin Mon 14-Mar-16 10:09:38

Superdrug early response are picking up positives much earlier than other brands (including frer) from my experience of testing in January. I would expect you'll get positives on other brands in 4-5 days

LittleMrsSophieB Mon 14-Mar-16 10:10:12

A friend told me not to get excited because they could be evap lines and that the clear blue test is right πŸ˜• xx

Lweji Mon 14-Mar-16 10:15:23

The key is if you were able to see those lines within the correct time frame. The photo is irrelevant if taken outside that period.
In any case, I'd wait for your period.

CB tests are not as sensitive as others - especially the digital ones. If the colour of the positive line is grey it is likely to be an evap. If it's pink it's a positive. Looks like congrats might be in order...!

Pinkheart5915 Mon 14-Mar-16 10:20:37

The two tests in the photo do have faint lines, but if the lines didn't appear in the time frame then they could do evap lines.
The superdrug early response ones are very sensitive, and they were correct for me. The clear blue ones didn't work for me.

Test every day as if you are pregnant the line will get darker.

Artioo2 Mon 14-Mar-16 10:26:53

If you read those tests within the time frame, then those are positive tests, definitely not evaporation lines. Evaporation lines happen when the wee on the test dries, but if you read them within the test time then there would not be time for this to happen. The Clear Blue may just not have picked up enough hormone to turn positive yet. I'd try a First Response test, that picked up my positive several days before my period was due. Good luck.

KatharinaRosalie Mon 14-Mar-16 10:27:48

those are positives and I would assume to be pregnant until proven otherwise. Superdrug pregnancy test are a more sensitive than CB Digital - test again tomorrow.

LittleMrsSophieB Mon 14-Mar-16 10:29:17

I took the photos as soon as I checked the tests at 3 mins. The lines are in fact a pink which gives me a bit more hope now. So looks like I'll have wait and see what this week brings. I'm more scared of getting my period because it will kill my hubby if it's a false alarm I don't want to break his heart x

LittleMrsSophieB Mon 14-Mar-16 10:31:15

Thanks everyone for all of the advice I really appreciate it xx

Pinkheart5915 Mon 14-Mar-16 10:35:56

If you took them after the 3 minutes, I'd say you are pregnant.

Test again each day the line will get darker.

LittleMrsSophieB Mon 14-Mar-16 10:37:22

Thanks Pinkheart x

Frazzled2207 Mon 14-Mar-16 10:37:46

Those tests are def positive.
I think superdrug ones are among the most sensitive ones you can buy. Try a third brand? Ime if you are pregnant lines will become noticably darker every 2ish days

DramaAlpaca Mon 14-Mar-16 10:37:59

I'm no expert on pregnancy tests, but those look like positives to me.

I think congratulations might be in order!

Pannacott Mon 14-Mar-16 10:39:16

Yes I'd say pregnantsmile FRER are not very sensitive.

Frazzled2207 Mon 14-Mar-16 10:39:27

Oh those clear blue digitals are definitely not as sensitive.

LittleMrsSophieB Mon 14-Mar-16 10:48:58

For the price of the clear blues they should be really bloody sensitive! πŸ˜‚ I have all my fingers crossed that I am now! Still no signs of AF on its way wich isn't normal for me

1moretime Mon 14-Mar-16 10:58:47

Best of luck hun. They look positive to me xxx

TooGood2BeFalse Mon 14-Mar-16 12:34:09

Looks positive to me grin
