My first ds was born suddenly at 32 weeks. Very quick delivery at home after a 30 minute labour. The contractions only started 25 minutes before he was born.

I had no indication he was coming early other that pains in my back and down the back of my legs a few days previous. I had just put that down to moving house.

I'm now 30 weeks with baby2 and last night had pains in my lower back, bum cheeks and back of my legs.
Dp said the muscles felt very tight do is maybe overdone it

Today I've quite stiff. Slight lower back and upper leg pain.

Should I be phoning the midwife??

I would if you have had a previous preterm baby and the labour was very quick, its best to get youself and baby checked over 😊
