Anyone else fed up at 36 weeks?

I am so fed up! This pregnancy has been one thing after another, so many appointments and difficult consultants and different people telling me totally different things, never feeling sure that I have got the right advice\am doing the right thing. Now just hating the uncertainty of the next few weeks, small matter of the birth to look forward to!

Sympathy to you too! It's my 2nd too - think it does feel a lot more like a long trial of patience and other things second time around compared to first doesn't it, on one hand I'm a bit more hardened to it but on the other hand I just so want to have a baby and not be pregnant anymore! I'm a student so giving myself the day off after a few days in hospital then need to get back to work. I keep looking at people who aren't pregnant and wondering how it feels! I think amongst keeping an eye on movements and appointment faff I need to try and forget about being pregnant for a bit, not sure if that is possible!

Also 36 weeks here with DC2... remember, the last month of pregnancy is all about making the baby extraction bit look attractive ;)

Im 36 weeks too and I have had enough of the pain in my pelvis and back and braxton hics. Then there is the heartburn and sickness. I feel huge and I am walking like a weeble. Roll on 4 weeks time ladies :)

35 weeks here with twins and I'm absolutely over it now. I'll not list everything but dear god I can't wait until these babies are out.

36 weeks with baby no2 here too and I'm VERY ready to have this baby now- running around after a toddler when this heavily pregnant is really tough so I definitely think it's been more difficult with DC2 than with DC1. I'm having a CS though so I know I've got that recovery and no driving for 6 weeks to look forward to after the birth, sigh Sad

36 weeks here too. Breech/transverse/oblique baby spinning, flipping constantly especially when I need to do the hour round trip walk to get my son from nursery. It's really quite painful. Then all the bugs a toddler can throw at me, builders taking over the house and walked into the bedroom today whilst I was getting changed sigh. It's been tough this time round. Sympathies to all, we are nearly there. Cannot wait to have this baby here safe in my arms x

YES am 36 weeks and so fed up. I am huge, bigger than at full term when I had dS1, and so tired from running after him and not being able to sleep properly.

Am already on mat leave but in all honesty I think I'd be getting more rest if I was still at work!!

36 weeks here too, well 37 weeks on sat then it officially becomes ok to just want this thing out of me! Baby measuring 8lbs already and most of that seems to be his head! Confused I am really hoping this means I am due earlier than they think but knowing my luck I will go overdue and give birth to a toddler 🙈
It is nice to know we are all in the same boat though, we should use this thread as a countdown to birth thread, may help pass the time Smile

Yea defiately miss malteaser 8lb for the head made me chuckle. My babies measuring big too so know how you feel. My other 2 children were late so im not expecting this one to come on time, alot of wishful thinking going on though. Im walking him out as soon as I hit 39 weeks and will breathe through the pelvic pain

Snap zanny I had to be induced with my first 2 as they were both 10plus days overdue so I keep telling myself there's no way I could be that unlucky again, then again maybe I do genuinely have a longer gestational period?
Does anyone know if baby gets bigger than 10lbs by growth scan can I request a section? I don't necessarily want one but the though of birthing such a big baby on my own scares me Shock
Think I will do all the usual walking and birthing ball etc as even if it doesn't work at least I will feel like I'm doing something

I had a little cry today, my back is killing me. I'm exhausted and i've got a bouncing toddler on my hands. I wish someone would offer to have her so i can get abit of a break.

missmalteser I'm 37 weeks on Saturday too so we must have the same due date! Grin I'm not sure about requesting a CS if the baby is measuring very large but I'm sure I've heard of people having an ELCS for that reason...

DD is still 2 days a week at nursery whilst I'm on mat leave (thank goodness!!) and tomorrow is a nursery day- hoorah!

c-section booked today because of an unstable lie on 24th March. Now hoping my waters don't break early as could do without the stress of worrying about a cord prolapse. At least I have a date to aim for though.

Issie yes it seems we have the same due date, I wonder who will be first to go Smile 37 weeks today and it feels another milestone had passed, next one due date, if I have not gone by then, fingers crossed
Wombat fingers crossed for you, and yes you can properly count down the days now!
Flowers fuzz, hope you're feeling better soon Flowers
