My doc has prescribed these to help with my morning -all day- sickness.
Last night I took the first one and I literally slept 17 hours!!! An hour after I had taken it I couldn't keep my eyes open.

Luckily dh was here as I have a 10 month old but he works away all week so I'm scared to take them incase I sleep like that tonight.

It was a coma like sleep it took dh 15 mins to properly wake me! Has anyone else taken these and had any side effects like this?

I was prescribed for the same reason and took them from 7-16 weeks. I was taking 2 a day and the first few days I was constantly sleepy and feel asleep during the day etc as well as sleeping all night but once they are in your system the sleepiness stops. I went back to work on them. They definitely help with morning sickness though so if that's really bad I would stick with them.

No drowsiness that I noticed, but persevere, the symptoms may subside.

Hi!! I was on these at first and was advised to take 1 on a night time as it would make me drowsy. But it would stay in my stem for the full 24 hours and cover me until the next night. They didn't really work for me (I wasn't wo convinced that they stayed in my system for 24 hours) so I went back to the doctor and was prescribed cyclizine and they are so much better. I was told to take 3 a day but if I'm having an off day and not eating as much then I just take it before my meal so I try and get away with just 2 on some days. They don't make me drowsy at all and I'm getting on with these ones better than the first lot

I had these in my first pregnancy. I took it in the evening and was knocked out until the middle of the next day. I also had slurred speech. I persisted for a few days but side effects didn't reduce. I found cyclizine much better for me.

Be careful with not being able to stomach water. I ended up slightly dehydrated. Not enough to be a worry as they hoped that the new tablets would allow me to keep water down and they did so they fixed it. But make sure that u ask every time they do a urine sample for them to check if u r dehydrated as they only checked because I prompted them. I actually found calling 111 and getting an appointment at a walk in centre alot easier than my doctors as they have a longer waiting list and I was always seen early the next day if I called 111 late at night
