Is anyone else awake? Been up since 3am, had max 4hrs sleep, toddler will be up in a couple if hours and I have a whole day of entertaining her!! Sorry, just a rant, but it's really annoying - come 10am and I could sleep all day!!!

I'm with you! Went to bed at 10 been up for over an hour with what feels like heartburn. Just done an hours work on laptop to see if that helped. Still wide awake!

<waves>

I fell asleep with the light on, then when I turned it off I couldn't settle back down again.
Then DS (nearly 3) woke up, and even though it took approx 23 seconds to resettle him I've managed to finish my book and still not fall asleep nearly two hours later angry

Constant feeling like a need a wee.
I'm going to be grumpy as fuck tomorrow.

Hope you're both catching some zeds now

I'm just glad no work for me tomorrow or I think I may have quit grin

How far are you ladies? I'm 20 + 6 thought I was over this stage now but clearly just moving into a different phase altogether

35+5 here.

Thankfully DS is spending the arvo with his grandparents so I shall be getting straight back into bed!

What gets me at this stage is the dread of sleepless nights to come...it seems cruel not to be allowed to bank a bit of sleep now!

Glad - but commiserations - I'm not the only one sad. I'm still awake, reading books on my iPhone, really hoping dd naps tomorrow as I shall be going straight to bed. I'm 28 weeks so a while to go sad(

Hey, pregnant lady awake here.

I always wake at 3, go pee and then trawl MN. It's obviously not the bright white light on my phoned keeping me awake hmm

Seriously, I think this is new born training.

This is my second pg and my second round of insomnia. Only this time I tried acupuncture and although I am still suffering it only take 3 hours to get back to sleep as opposed to not getting back to sleep at all. Not sure if the needles had any influence!

I lie there too tired to do much and try to avoid lights, but everytime I think I am drifting off my bladder or an ant four miles away sneezing wakes me back up. I try to do stuff like colouring in or reading but quite often don't want to!

Thankfully after successful sleep coaching my boy sleeps like a log most nights.

I remember sleeping much better when he came along even if it was only for a few hours at a time at first. So I know this is only temporary! 😴
