Im almost 7 weeks pregnant with my second . But i have forgoten whats normal and what isnt.. i get mild occasional cramps n aches im so nervous waiting for dating scan just want it to be fine.. thikk im just over worrying but what IS normal on the firdt 3 months of pregnancy!?!

Yes. I had cramps throughout my first trimester. Just everything stretching!

Thank you! Im so paranoid efore scans.. just want to know its okay! Do you no when roughly dating scans take place? X

Hi most women get their first scan at 12 weeks and then 20 weeks but can pay for a private one before then. You might also be referred for a scan early if you have bleeding or any other symptoms that are worrying you (mild cramping you've had is normal). Have you rung your surgery to get a booking in appointment with a midwife? That's normally around 7-9 weeks but can vary and doesn't involve scanning but is a good chance to ask lots of questions.

Have you booked in with midwife? As they are the ones that book the dating scan. If you want the scan to look for things like downs then this will need to be booked by 14 weeks I think

Yes have my midwife wont see her till im 8 weeks.. shes sent letter for blood test and dating scan xx

Why don't you check out one of the many pregnancy specific web sites, week by week info. Are you familiar with "the bump" or "baby centre"? Lots of accurate info available.
