I have bad diastasis recti which I need surgery for post baby, I'm 28 weeks with dc4 and am really seeing the struggle with hip/back pain along with swelling down below and a crap pelvic floor.
Got physio thus Friday so hoping for help and I have exercise DVDs but it's just getting worse!

Have you tried Pilates? It did (does) brilliant things for my back and pelvic floor. If you've got a weakness like this you have to commit to regular maintenance exercise, physio or Pilates, long term IMO.
