burger smell throughout the house

DH made burgers for lunch. I asked him to keep the kitchen door closed as the smell of meat and it cooking is too much for me at the moment. I closed the door and came upstairs but he's now opened it and served burgers to DSSs in the living room. I feel awful at the best of times but my house reeks of fat, blood and burnt - it's made its way to my bedroom and I keep wretching.

DH is looking at me like Hmmas HE can't smell it up here but I can and it's bothering me. I'm going to have to go out aren't I?

This is the most ridiculous reason for starting a thread I know but I have no one else to rant at. I've opened the window in here so it's freezing cold and it still reeks of cooking meat.

If it does make you throw up, make sure it's in his shoes Grin He might get the idea then...
Sympathies Scoop, I've been getting really bad nausea and smell aversion too and DH just didn't get it either. Until a rather dramatic demand he pulled over on the duel carriageway last weekend and the very impressive sick that followed (though I do say so myself) that is. He's been a teeny bit more understanding since then Smile

I did have someone once cook the most obnoxious chips and the smell took ages to go away. Even my DH took exception to the smell Grin

I still have a intense dislike to any cooking, which makes things awkward. I haven't done any proper cooking for a couple of months now. Sad
