Hello everyone Smile I really hope someone has experienced this and could help me!
Been trying to get pregnant for about 2 years now. Well I took a pregnancy test yesterday and super super faint line was there....Today same thing but I mean so faint it's invisible!!!
I've done about 5 tests today and all the same.
I've got some symptoms like bigger, heavier breast and some cramping and back pain too.

Is this a positive, has anyone had this and ended in a successful pregnancy???
Am I so desperate I'm imagining this 'line' Confused Confused

Thanks in advance!!!

Yes! I took a test before my period start date and got a very very light blue line. Could barely see it but it was definitely there. That was DD2 and she's 9 now. A positive is a positive Thanks

Thank you for the responses :)
I've just another and the line is more visible than the other, I mean it's still faint but slightly more visable!!
I don't wanna get to excited as in still unsure and I've had multiple miscarriages...so I'm keeping my excited under wraps for now.
I'm also getting cramping in my stomach like I'm gonna have my period so I'm still nervous about that too.

I shall another one tomorrow morning and see what it says :)

I had the exact same thing happen. The first positive (if I can even call it that) was fainter than faint. Some lovely ladies on here suggested I buy a first resoponse test because the pink dye tests are clearer than the blue dye ones. I'm now 13 weeks! Fingers crossed for you! The clear blue digital tests need a higher level of the HCG hormone to detect a pregnancy than what the first response tests do, so I would maybe suggest trying a first response test with your first urine of the day. Then maybe a clear blue digi in a few days :)

I had the same with my first and yes I was pregnant and now she's a happy 2 year old. A line is a line!! If you weren't producing the hormone there would be no line. As long as you're sure there's a line then you're almost definitely pregnant! Just early on.

Yes, I've done another one this morning and still a faint line.
I think I'm not gonna do another one until Tuesday as I'm just staring at these strips like a mad woman haha.

I already have a 5 year old and when I tested with her the results window came up first!

Like, you said I must just be super super early.

I'll keep you posted :)

Oh my god. I'm taking it again tomorrow morning as well.
My sister is also pregnant with her 2nd. She is 5 weeks.
This is all very strange. Thanks so much for messaging back.
I feel a bit cheesy saying this but this site got me through a horrible time with the miscarriage and you can always rely on someone to help you.
Thanks ladies X
How far along are you all?

Awww, that's nice that MN has been such a good support to you! How lovely that you've got this news just shortly after your sister :) I'm 13 weeks! It's my 2nd and I already feel like I've been pregnant forever! Lol. Just at that stage where I look like I've put on a couple of pounds so I can't wait for the bump to pop out! Smile x

You know when I said I wouldn't do another until Tuesday....well I lied haha
Just done another and the line is still very faint, how long until it will get a little darker if it positive?
I'm feeling very sick today and I have a bad tension headache....so I'm kind of hopeful!
Also, my breast just feel fuller and heavier but not painful, is this normal?
Xx

You'll find there will be less concentration of the hormone in your urine by the end of the day so if it's faint in the morning, it could be even fainter by night time! Your symptoms sound just like mine to begin with. You might even find that by tomorrow morning, you'll get a clearer result!! If you can hold out til say Tuesday morning, even better! Easier said than done though! :)

I've only got 2 more tests anyway, I need to use them wisely, I got a job lot from Amazon.

Yeah, I'll wait till Tuesday if I can...

Thank you

I've taken another one today but just a standard first response, not your early detection one.
It's come up with a very faint line as well. It's given me more hope as its a different test than what I was using before.
But the only way I can see the line is if I put a light behind the pregnancy test!!

I'm a being crazy for doing all of this?!?!?

I feel like I'm forcing something happen when even though it might not!!

So frustrating!! Xx

Hi Almabajj - looks like we were both acting the same kind of crazy this weekend!

We've been trying for over a year and I have a blocked tube, one chemical pregnancy, one failed IUI and one failed IVF behind me, and I'm 42.

I tested on Saturday (2 days before AF) with a First Response and got the same kind of "only visible if you squint at in bright light" line. Took a deep breath and decided to repeat on Sunday morning and it was more or less the same, so I did a Clearblue Digital and got "Not pregnant" . Showed DH the "line" and he said he couldn't see it but I could (under very bright light!). Did a sneaky internet cheapo one in the evening and got a resounding negative. I was going crazy thinking about it.

This morning (i.e day AF is due) I got a Superdrug test as I'd heard they are more sensitive than FRER and I've finally got a line that's visible to the naked eye! Smile. It is still VERY faint though. AF hasn't shown so I am cautiously optimistic for now.

However having had a chemical before I'm scared that such a faint line on the day AF is due means that it's not strong enough.

Don't have any symptoms; my boobs are still as flat and painless as ever!

I'm crossing my fingers for you, let's hope we both have successful pregnancies. In the meantime, can anyone recommend a way to make the time pass more qyuicly till I can test again with FMU tomorrow? Work is not cutting it. Still at least I get to show DH the line tonight and tear hom off a strip for not believing me yesterday. Grin

Very very faint positive pregnancy test!

Hello :)
We are in the exact same boat!!
I did a super drug one when I was pregnant with my daughter it showed up straight away....not sure why I didn't just think to get one of those again....thanks for the reminder!!
I've been using those strips from Amazon and I'm scared that I've just been seeing evaporation lines or they are super sensitive that's it's just picked up normal HCG hormone that's floating around my body.

But I have an appointment at the gynecologist on Thursday so I'll see what they say!

But you pregnancy test defo look positive to me!!!!!
That's a sure line and a lot darker than mine have been coming out!!!!

Congratulations and let's hope it's good news all the way xxx

I was exactly the same 11 days ago!

Took the cheapo amazon strip test and saw a little line, went to the pharmacy and got a clear blue test and there was no denying it! 😊

I'm 6 weeks along now due date currently 18th July!

Congratulations!

Very very faint positive pregnancy test!

Sadly I think that my test yesterday only showed up because the Superdrug ones are so sensitive - a Clearblue digital was negative this morning and I started bleeding around lunchtime.

I think that there may have been brief implantation and a bit of pregnancy hormone, rather than me just imagining the line (or it being an evaporation line) but it just didn't stick. In other words, a chemical pregnancy.

Very sad, just goes to show that testing before, or even on, the day AF is due can really screw with the emotions. If I hadn't tested yesterday I'd never have known.

Best of luck to you Alma. Do keep us updated.

I had what a chemical pregnancy and then literally must have conceived about 2 weeks later. I'm now nearly 14 weeks! So sorry to hear that Jessie! I have my fingers crossed that it happens again soon for you! Please have some rest, indulge in some chocolate and your favourite tv program/film! Sending hugs Flowers
