UTI 10 weeks pregnant

Hi, I'm looking for some advice. I found out at my midwife appointment that I have a urine infection through the dipstick test. I was surprised as I had no symptoms but since yesterday I've had sharp pains in my lower back and also I guess where my uterus is. Thursday night there was also a pinprick spot of blood on the toilet paper.

I haven't been prescribed any antibiotics as they are waiting for the lab results to confirm what type of infection it is. I rang my midwife yesterday to express my concerns but she said there's nothing they can do until they get the results back.

I'm really worried as I'm aware utis if left untreated can cause miscarriage, I feel like a sitting duck! I'm obviously glugging away at the water and cranberry juice but the pains are worrying me. Anyone have any advice or similar stories?!
