Is this heartburn?

The last few nights when lying down it feels like liquid is seeping up to my throat and if I don't sit up or prop myself up it feels like I will be sick if I burp. No pain or burning, just very unpleasant! Sad

Joy. I'm 31wks at the moment so no lying completely flat for 9-11wks? Can you take anything to help it?

There is gaviscon etc but I find a glass of cold whole milk works wonders.
I don't get it the whole time, mad worse by eating late, spicy or fatty foods, position of baby.

You need gaviscon pink bottle (double action), the only thing that worked for me. Don't bother with a spoon, you'll end up carrying it in your handbag and swigging from the bottle.

Ok thanks for that. I'll pick some up today.

I rotate gaviscon and rennies as they only seem to work for a while for me. Yes to swigging from the bottle.
And zantac is supposed to stop the actual problem, it's definetly not as bad if I remember to take one everyday.
