9 weeks bad bleed!

I'm currently 9 weeks and 4 days pregnant, Monday I had a fall didn't think anything of it but on the Tuesday i went to the toilet wiped and there was pinkish blood. I've had a little bleed already in this pregnancy but it stopped within an hour and doctors said its implantation. My worry is this time I had a scan yesterday babies there was a heart beat and they can't see anything causing the bleed but I've started to clot and getting some cramping mild less than period pains. I've got a little boy and had a previous miscarriage and I'm terrified I'm still miscarrying. The blood is bright red and small clots but I don't want to bother the doctors if the baby is still okay. Has anyone else experienced this?

I've had bleeding on and off through my pregnancy too and so far everything has been fine despite that.

Give your doctor a call and ask for another referral for a scan due to increased bleeding. You aren't 'bothering' them, you are a worried pregnant lady that legitimately needs their help.

If you have an EPAU near you that takes self referrals you could just go straight down there and it's likely you'll have the answers you need very quickly.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you Flowers

I'm sorry you are going through this. Seeing fresh blood is always a worry. What kind of fall did you have? At 9 weeks the little baby is so well protected within the pelvis that unless it was very high impact it is unlikely to be the cause. Please don't best yourself up over it as it will only add to your stress.

Do you have an EPU near you where you can get an early scan for reassurance?

I've had a bad bleed myself at 5 and a half weeks and a scan showed a subchorionic hematoma which is apparently really common and not always terrible news.

Thank you for your comments. Unfortunately I went back into hospital still currently here and I have miscarried the baby. I still live in hope that it was twins or something but I know that would only be a miracle. Time to move on and hope this doesn't happen again
