Yesterday DH and I found out we're expecting DC3. Not a surprise really, we weren't being careful, we know we want another DC, but we weren't actively trying. I'm in shock! I'm so happy, we both are. We have DC who are 2.5 and 1.
Can anyone tell me we're not being crazy and this will be amazing!! I'm often on my own with the kids due to DH's job.
I think I'm still in shock!!
It's very early days so not going to tell anyone in the real world yet but felt I needed to say it to mumsnet!

It will be amazing. I have 3, and wouldnt have it any other way. But - there are times with a newborn that it's really hard, I won't lie to you. You only have 2 hands, and 3 children...makes things tricky.

We were in the same situation - dc3 was born just before dc1 was 3, and when dc2 was 19mos. She was brain damaged at birth, so it was all a bit of a pickle for a few years, but these days having them all so close together (but not too close together - a school year between each of them) is quite lovely.
Congrats!

I know it will be hard, but I know it will be amazing too!
I'm more worried about people's reaction to be honest. Also, it keeps slipping my mind I'm pregnant. Then I remember and feel so happy.
The tiredness is already kicking in and I'm dreading the sickness when that comes.
Just hope things go ok! I also don't think I want another c section (had one with dc2). So much to think about!
