Hi . I am 17 weeks and I am getting a bit of morning sickness....but the thing that is making it worse is the taste of toothpaste! If anyone has any suggestions of toothpaste without any scent or taste that would be good !

Oranurse is completely unflavoured - Amazon sell it.

I found it wasn't so much the flavour as the foam. DH liked Crest, which made me gag and hurl, instantly. I preferred the old style Mentadent P from before they messed around it. We ended up settling on Aquafresh, which doesn't foam as much as Crest.

Hi, I support someone who hates the taste of all toothpaste but www.amazon.co.uk/Oranurse-3659273-50ml-Unflavoured-Toothpaste/dp/B0085AOSU0?tag=mumsnet&ascsubtag=mnforum-21 is aparently good and doesn't taste of anything. Down side is no minty fresh breath Smile

Snap . I couldn't clean my teeth without throwing up until I started using children's tooth paste. Not brilliant but at least I was cleaning then with something and keeping my breakfast down!

Heck yes! Makes me gag... I randomly picked up some of that sensodyne pronamel stuff - it's anise scented which I usually hate but it's definitely less puke-inducing than regular.

For me it was the foam not the mint that made me gag. Thought I was going mad until I googled it as a possible pregnancy symptom and then found a million threads and blogs on it. I switched to supermarket own brand basics toothpaste which makes no foam and stopped using my electric toothbrush and that fixed it for me.

Sorry, that's not much help if it is the mint not the foam for you!....

Tesco own brand kids is strawberry instead of mint. Perhaps that won't be so bad.

Arm and hammer worked for me, but hated not feeling minty fresh so used dentyl clover mouthwash also.

I know it might sound weird but when I had hg (well, all the times I've had hg) I used milk teeth. It has a pleasant (tolerable) taste and did an alright job until I could get back onto the grown up stuff.

Use a small amount of coconut oil and do oil pulling. :)

I ended up using hello kitty bubblegum flavor! It was a combo of the texture, the taste and anything in my mouth that was making me retch.

Went away after a few weeks, but it really limited my dental hygiene in the mornings. Did a LOT of mouthwash as a result.
