Could labour be near?

Pregnant with number two. But I was induced with my son which failed so the whole going into labour thing is new to me..

Anyway, I've had very loose bowel movements for a week or two (sorry tmi)

Last week I thought I might of had a show twice.. A small amount of mucus one night then 3 days later a small amount of mucus that was slightly red/brown tinged.

Cramps similar to period pains, back pains, mild tightenings..

Tonight I plonked down on the sofa a bit fast and experienced the worst pain ever.. Like a contraction I think.. But assumed it was caused by moving a bit fast and suddenly!

Baby was 2/5ths engaged a few days ago..

Wow how many weeks are u!? I am 36 and have twice thougt I was in labour. managed to give myself massive pain by squatting too fast. I think a show is sposed to be a sign yes but. Never had any with my first two or noticed waters breaking. Might have happened in bath with first did not happen at all with second. Last week and week before had two nights of front then back pain convinced starting now waiting again! I reckon the only ultimate way to know is when u r having contractions as well as waters or mucus or back pain. Keep us postedM

Sounds like a show. That can happen a couple of weeks before. I should think you are anything up to a couple of weeks away, but the contraction cramps sound positive...you will just have to wait and see!
