Ok so! I'm pregnant with my second child (yay! Smile) it's still early days, I just turned 8 weeks on Sunday. I haven't yet been to see the midwife but it's all booked and I'm just waiting to go! With my first child I never felt him move until well into the second start of the third stage of my pregnancy, but I'm just laying here typing this and I can feel movement, im starting to think I'm to excited and just imagining things but I'm not! I know my own body and this isn't trapped wind it is movement, I'm completely sure of it. I've read that it's possible to feel it this early but most posts were of Mum's on their 3/4 child. Has anyone else felt movement so early on?

I would say that as it's about the size of a Rasberry and weighs around 0.04oz AND is still tuck below and behind the pelvis, that it is very unlikely that what you're feeling is baby movement.

I'm sorry if that sounds snippy! That's not my intention at all! Congratulations on your pregnancy Flowers

I'm glad you've said this, because I have felt what is identical to flutters from 8 weeks. I know its not the baby. My theory is that as our uterus expands it messes up our intestines and gas suddenly feels different from before and for us it just happens to feel like flutters. I would.love it if i could feel the baby, but its just not realistic.

Thank you Smile, haha that's ok, I know the baby is still only small so I guess it was hope and over excitement lol.

From 8 weeks I had flutters low down, as if it was over my cervix, I have no explanation, they didn't go away, just intensified and then stopped and kicks started a day or two later. Gas or baby I have no idea but definitely baby related
