Hi,

I have two children and found out a few days ago that I am pregnant (from doing a pregnancy test at home) I went on a due date tracker to see how far I am because I have the dates of my last period and that works out to make me 6 and a half weeks, but today I had a nasty fall and fell on my tummy and now I'm frightened as I had pains and my boobs aren't sore anymore, I really don't want a miscarriage as I had a terrifying one two years ago,

Has anyone experienced anything like this before and could give me some reassurance?

Thank you,

Sam xxxxxxxxxxx

I'm so sorry you've had a scare hon. Is there any way you can phone epu or midwife for reassurance?
Have you had any bleeding?
Baby is pretty well protected in there so I'm sure it will be fine but early pregnancy is terrifying. I had two miscarriages early on and I know your fears only too well.
Hope everything is ok and you get some reassurance very soon x

I was going to call the hospital but I haven't even been referred to the hospital from the doctors yet because my doctor won't see me until next week, I don't have a midwife either at the moment Shock
I haven't had any bleeding I hope I don't bleed, early pregnancy is such a worry I think I'm so worried because of the miscarriage I had before I fell pregnant with my son it's just one thing after another!
Thank you for your reply I really appreciate itSmilexx

Sam I hope your okay. I have had 4 miscarriages and am now pregnant for the 5th time at 13 weeks. I had a fall few weeks back off the second bottom stair and landed on my belly. I hand some sharp pains and was very sore n my back but everything is fine. If you do bleed or are very concerned fone your local hospital and ask to be put through to maternity and demand to speak to a midwife or alternatively go to a&e and tell them your concerned as you fell and are now sore. Hope all well. Xxx

I read in my pregnancy book that the baby is so tiny and so well protected at your stage that only a "massive blunt trauma" would be likely to cause a problem. So I am sure you are fine. But if you are really concerned, try calling your EPU, they may scan you anyway. Or a private scan?

Lots of luck
