Maternity dress suitable for weddings (this summer)

Hi all, I have three weddings this summer and need a new dress. I can't fit into any of mine anymore as I'm not 5 months,.

I don't want to spent too much and want something comfy and flattering. I usually buy dresses for weddings at Coast, Boden, Phase Eight (just so you know my vague style).

Can anyone point me in the direction of some good options?

Isabella Oliver does lovely very comfy but glam looking stuff. You can dress it up or wear it everyday and sell it on once you are no longer pregnant.

Isabella Oliver, buy on eBay usually still in very good condition as people wear once or twice!

I've been to a wedding this week at 26 weeks and found a lovely dress from Seraphine.

The dresses aren't that much more than asos but will accommodate your growing bump if the weddings you are off to are across the summer Smile

Went to a wedding last week and wore this in blue, it was absolutely so cheap (£10) but everyone commented on how nice it was!

This isn't maternity but I wore it to a wedding last week. I just bought a size up and there was still loads of room. Had lots of nice comments.

I wore a normal size maxi dress for a wedding the wkend just gone at 30 wks, was about 30 in debenhams, also have one from wallis for this wkend which was 40 that I brought for a wedding last yr pre pregnancy and due to the style it still fits fine.

I got a maxi dress from jojo mama for £39. Planning to wear it to two weddings one at 19 weeks and one at 26 weeks. Most of their dresses grow with you and done like the one I got can be used for nursing also.

Tiffany Rose looks incredible, but you need to be loaded to shop there. Isabel Oliver is nice, but still more expensive than Seraphine.

If all goes well, I should be going to a wedding when I am nearly 7 months pregnant, and plan to get something from Seraphine.

ASOS looks quite nice, but lots of it is just so shapeless. Plus their customer service is ATROCIOUS.

Goodness, it's true some of their dresses are v. pricey, but some are on sale and are quite reasonable, there are gorgeous dresses for around £50-60. Plus getting them second hand is also an option.

That eBay dress is a bargain!

I brought a dress from Seraphine to wear to a wedding. It was £27 from the Outlet section.

That eBay dress looks really nice for the price!
What is the fabric like? (I.e. not see-through?)
What is the sizing like?
I hate having to order on-line if there isn't free postage/returns, as the sizes given can so rarely be trusted!

I have that eBay dress in purple and dark blue. It's pretty good for the price to be honest, material isn't too see through. Fairly true to size, plenty of room for my 8 month bump! I needed a 16 to get my boobs (and even then only just) in but they are now a 36FF/G! I usually wear a 12 or 14 in most maternity clothes by anything with a fitted or shaped bust I usually need a 16. You get the same dress with short sleeves and/or a flared skirt also but the more fitted skirt is much nicer.

Hi tricky we shop at similar places so I would suggest seraphine. I am still wearing monsoon in a size bigger though so if see empire style you like on high street could size up?

Could dress it up for a wedding as long as its not too formal.
