I'm roughly 9 and a half weeks pregnant, I was exhausted for the first few weeks and had about 4 days of morning sickness and all of a sudden everything's just stopped, I haven't felt or been sick for days and haven't felt any more tired than usual (up at 6am every day with 9 month old DS) with my first pregnancy I had sickness all the way through from start to finish. I know every pregnancy is different and I'm probably worrying about nothing but could it be a sign that something is wrong? ?

Btw, I'm not complaining that my sickness has gone! I had enough sickness last pregnancy to last at least 10 pregnancies !

I could be one of those people who says 'every pregnancy is different, I am sure everything is fine, blah blah' - which is more than likely true BUT this is also my ultimate fear.. the tiredness is killing me off slowly I am sure, and everything around sickness and food is driving me insane atm but I am so grateful for the symptoms. In all honesty, I would poas and check the line, secondly I would contact my midwife, and 3rdly I would book a private scan or get a freebie out of the NHS by telling a little whiteone I must add that I am an out of control nervous pregnant wrexk but I always believe in the safe to be sorry rule! Wishing you all the luck and an uneventful pregnancy, hopefully you will be one of the lucky ones who gets the glow early Flowers

Don't worry One, my symptoms also disappeared around 9-10 weeks, which made the waiting until my 13 week scam unbearable, but everything was great! Honestly it's so common for the symptoms to go all of a sudden, it's your body adjusting to the hormones. And yes, every pregnancy IS different and I'm sure your baby is just fine. Good luck and enjoy the symptom free period, you never know they might come back! Thanks

I didn't feel pregnant at all from 8 until about 14 weeks pregnant. Chill out. Everything will be fine x

Thanks for the reassurance! I think I panicked until my first scan last time too, this time I don't have one until 13 and a half weeks but last time I had one at 11 weeks, it feels like ages to wait!

I didn't have any symptoms, so spent a lot of time googling this. and a lot of time poking my boobs looking for a sore spot.

one thing was crystal clear from all the googling: symptoms, or the lack of, are absolutely no use at predicting anything. there are lots of ladies with no symptoms and they were fine. lots of ladies who lost symptoms and it was fine. tragically there are ladies who had all the symptoms and it wasn't fine and some who lost symptoms and it wasn't fine... it's just not reliable.

if you are worried, then a private scan at 9 weeks is probably going to be your only option, but at least you will know. if you can not worry and wait it out for the 12 week scan, the odds are far far more in your favour of it all being fine.

We've just used our heart beat Doppler for the first time, I've been putting off trying it because I thought it would be too early then I'd panic more if I couldn't find it but I found it straight away first time! SmileGrinSmile At least I can stop worrying so much now! I'm so glad I did it it's definitely put my mind at rest, it sounded quite slow though I don't know how fast it's meant to be at 9 weeks but DS heart beat always sounded faster
