Bump growing, struggling to put socks on!

Sounds like a silly one but as a first time mum to be at 6 months pregnant, am now struggling to put on socks and tights ... Growing bump of course, but also feet becoming swollen... In hot or much warmer weather then this isn't an issue as I would wear slip on sandals only but at the moment... What is your advice!? Thanks :)

I meant to write also, that it's difficult because of bending forward and down now that bump is growing

I'm struggling with bending to put socks on too but found it helps to bring my foot up and rest it on my other knee with the knee bent out (if that makes any sense!). Kind of like you would if you were going to cross your legs sat on the floor.

Snap. I have been wearing mostly dresses and therefore tights but at 29+2 am really starting to struggle. Wore leggings socks and boots today. Getting the socks off is pretty hard too!

I have to sitdown for anything foot related. And don't get me started on shaving legs. or anywhere else

If you still struggle bringing your foot up to your other knee as suggested by dilly try laying on the bed putting them on with your leg in the air over you, gravity might help with allowing your leg to drop closer to your body, you could also then put your foot across your other knee while bent up to keep it in place while putting the sock on

Oh so tricky to shave legs in the bath! Mine are all patchy but I don't mind coz can't really see them Smile Sorry no advice on the socks - just look forward to the weather warming up so they're no longer needed.

I empathise, I'm struggling too. I perch on the edge of the bed and lift my foot up to the opposite knee - I've already moved into sandals unless it's raining.

My DH is currently suffering a leg injury and can't do his sick and shoe on one foot. We've taken to helping each other while sitting opposite each other. We must look like a right pair!!
