I've got super sore chafe marks at the very tops of my thighs Sad I think it's because I'm so flipping wet down there ConfusedSad literally open sores now. Need to wear panty liners but have a real problem with thrush so dreading that

I found wearing DH boxer shorts helped with this. Sudocrem and talc once they are dried also helps. However sudocrem can bleach things as a warning!

I would speak to your midwife or gp about the open sores as they could get much worse and they should be able to recommend a barrier cream for you.

Make sure you use unscented liners and cotton pants to reduce irritation. It might be worth trying to wear skirts to 'air' the sores as much as possible. Also be sure to dry yourself thoroughly after shower/ bath.

Hope it improves soon, sounds very sore!

Try metanium baby cream, used it with DC1 as she used to get very sore and OH quite often uses it as he gets very bad skin in hotter weather. It's very thick and yellow so best to wear something like boxers over the top so it doesn't stain clothes.

I resorted to my anty chafe cream usually only used when on my bike! When it heals up, try Vaseline or nipple cream.

I've got a skin balm with coconut oil on the sores, which has helped
