Hello there

Please would someone be kind enough to give their thoughts on this?

For the past couple of weeks I have been experiencing some strange symptoms....such as....an unusual, emotional outburst, weird taste in mouth, feeling 'off' followed by intense hunger. Also, felt like I had a bit of water retention, absolute exhaustion and sore boobs. And...not being able to shake off the thought of being pregnant. I'm 34 and have a lovely boyfriend and we weren't planning on a family just yet, however, would embrace it if it came along :-)

Boyfriend did 'the deed' right around ovulation. We try to avoid this time but it just 'kinda happened'. And then I started to feel strange.

Not being able to shake off the thought of being pregnant and after suffering twinges and cramps today, I just did a test. At first, the control line showed so, after a minute or so, I figured I definitely wasn't pregnant and was just about to throw it away when...............another line started to appear. Faint. But a line. But so faint....but a line alright!

It's so faint. What do you think?

Me and boyfriend are in complete denial right now!

Thank you for helping me - I appreciate it.

A little stressed,
H xxx

For some reason can't open the image, but even if it's the faintest line in the world - it's positive! A line is a line! You are pregnant, congratulations! Grin

100% pregnant. The line will get darker as the days go on so do another test in a few days. Congratulations

Dear All

Thank you so, so much for your replies. I'm sorry I didn't respond last night. It was a strange night of being in complete shock and denial with occasional reality sinking in. I checked the forum replies and told boyfriend what they said. We didn't say too much, apart from that we were in shock and happy but we don't think it is real!

Boyfriend sat reading and I pottered around doing the housework but he occassioanlly looked over at me strangely and burst into giggles :)

I will take your advice and will do another test in a few days and update it. Hopefully with a darker line.

Again - thank you so, so much for taking the time to help me. I really appreciate you being there for me when I needed some help.
